What is the Crimson Club?
The Crimson Club is a loyalty program exclusively for current Indiana University students. The program encourages students to become involved with athletic events and rewards them based on their attendance. Students earn points for attending home sporting events and receive prizes based on their point totals. Almost every regular season game is a Crimson Club event!
How do I join the Crimson Club?
You will be automatically added to the Crimson Club when you attend your first sporting event during the 2013-2014 season. Crimson Club points will be recorded to your account when you swipe your university-issued ID card at sporting events.
How many points are awarded for each sporting event?
Each event is worth 100-400 points, unless stated otherwise. Most sports are 200 points unless it is a fish bowl game or an IU/PU match up. Football and Men's Basketball are all 100 point games. Only regular season games and matches are eligible for points.
Crimson Club members can also earn extra points. Be sure to check the IU Crimson Club Facebook and Twitter sites for the most up-to-date information.
How do I track my points?
Student point totals will be updated weekly on the Crimson Club website. This website will allow you to log on using your username and password to find out how many points you have. You can also check the Leader Board to view the top 25 students in the year-long race for the TV.
How do I redeem points?
Points can be redeemed for prizes during special prize pick-up days at the end of each semester.
Do my points carry over from semester to semester?
No. Points do not carry over from semester to semester. Point levels will be swiped clean and go back to zero (0) at the beginning of each school semester to be redeemed for semester prizes. However, the Leader Board runs through the whole year for the race to the TV.
If I forget my ID card, can I get still credit for attending sporting events?
No. Members must scan their student ID card to receive points. Credit cannot be given for prior athletic events. Please remember to bring your student ID card with you to each game.
